Flo saline nasal spray - Something to sniff at
For years, using a medicated spray was seen as the best (if not only) option to help clear nasal and sinus congestion. That’s despite more natural options being available, specifically those using a saline-based formula. The problem was that many of these formulas simply weren’t making enough noise. They weren’t actively looking to educate the category and grow it, at least not to the extent Flo wanted to. For this category minnow, it was a risky move. Investing in category growth when you’re not technically a leader isn’t standard. Good thing it’s worked out. A series of high profile mini-campaigns all leading to broad consumer and trade understanding that Flo helps people ‘breathe free naturally’ has led to this minnow going from mini to mighty.
